E la nave s’accostò pian piano …
La nostra zona è da decenni legata alla storia degli Alpini, ne sono testimonianza i gruppi alpini di tutta la vallata.
Spesso, durante le feste di paese, su tutte quelle sulle alture di Dolceacqua, viene intonata una canzone nota per il ritornello “.. con fucile in spalla caricato a palla sono ben armato …” . In realtà il testo nell’arco degli anni, causa memoria labile ed abbondanza di alcool nelle coronarie, è stato un po’ alterato dalle solite ugole presenti.
Mi piace pertanto riportare innanzitutto un breve cenno storico sul testo che spesso si sente echeggiare per ricordarne il contesto, seguito dallo stesso testo originale, sperando al prossimo festino di riuscire a tornare alle origini e di capire meglio la storia della canzone.
Cenni storici
(guerra Italo-Turca 1911-1912)
Approdava alle sponde africane Il Vascello di Savoia (titolo originale) ed un anonimo alpino del battaglione Saluzzo già accennava le prime battute narrative di questo canto, legato alla storica impresa di Uadi Derna (fiume nei pressi della città omonima) ove gli alpini, strappati da un bizzarro destino alle montagne native e gettati in un deserto sconosciuto di oltremare, inflissero una dura sconfitta all’emiro Enver Bey.
E’ questo uno dei rarissimi brani dove l’alpino si concede, contro le abitudini, un pizzico di tracotante trionfalismo, subito però mitigandone il tono con accenti più umani e commoventi. Discendenti da questa, che (con l’africana Mamma mia vienimi incontro) è fra le più antiche e nobili cante epiche alpine, sono le altre nate nella seconda guerra mondiale: La bersagliera (ove la meta è nientemeno che il Giappone) e Col fucile sulla spalla della campagna di Grecia.
E LA NAVE S’ACCOSTA PIAN PIANO
E la nave s’accosta pian piano,
salutando Italia sei bella;
nel vederti mi sembri una stella,
oh morosa ti debbo lasciar.
Allora il capitano m’allungò la mano
sopra il bastimento, mi vuol salutare,
e poi mi disse: i Turchi son là.
E difatti si videro spuntare,
le nostre trombe si misero a suonare,
le nostre penne al vento volavano
tra la bufera ed il rombo del cannon.
E a colpi disperati, mezzi massacrati
dalle baionette, i Turchi sparivano
gridando: Alpini, abbiate pietà.
Sulle dune coperte di sabbia
i nostri Alpini, oh Italia, morivano,
ma nelle veglie ancor ti sognavano
con la morosa, la mamma nel cuor.
E col fucile in spalla, baionetta in canna,
sono ben armato, paura non ho,
quando avrò vinto ritornerò!

Allora il “fucile in spalla” non è “caricato a palla” come solitamente si sente cantare?!? Pensandoci era un pò improbabile che potesse essere così!!! Come vengono storpiate a volte le canzoni…Ora ce la studiamo…!!! Tanto abbiamo tempo perchè per un pò di festini….!!!
Hai ragione era abbastanza improbabile, perchè un moschetto è per forza caricato a palla… non è un fucile da “turli” che ci metti le cartucce a “balin”… ma quando hai un ritornello in testa è difficile accorgersene… Soprattutto se, oltre al ritornello, in testa hai anche 15/20 perroquet…
Ora dovremmo fare una sezione dove si raccolgono le canzoni che da sempre si cantano nei festini… così magari, dopo tanto finalmente nella canzone di Dolceacqua non ci sarà più chi salterà il pezzo
“cun tutu qelu chi te fan de nevu ti semegli propriu a ina cità” (non so scrivere in dialetto, leggete solo la pronuncia!).
Che ne dici? magari uscirà anche il testo della famosa canzone del Ravanetto

A proposito della strofa che citi, sai che ci pensavo proprio un paio di sere fa?!?!
Ormai gente di Dolceacqua anche gente di una certa età, che sta canzone dovrebbe saperla meglio del proprio indirizzo di residenza, tende a cantare nel ritornello:
“tuti cheli che ghe ven una vauta i nu se ne ven ciù anda”
prima di
“tutu chelu chi te fan de nevu ti semegli propriu a una cità”
…(mi scuso anche io per la forma non correttissima del dialetto) …
con la conseguenza di cantare due volte la stessa frase!
Se il tema del Blog è anche “tradizione”, è anche perchè ci tenevo a fare un raccoglitore di canzoni che rischiano negli anni di perdersi, quindi sotto a popolare sto archivio di canzoni di Dolceacqua (e non solo)!
